  • Wine is perhaps one of the oldest alcoholic beverages out there with some archeologists estimating its origins as back as 6,000 to 5,800 B.C. It played an important part in religious ceremonies as well as celebrations such as weddings and martial victories. From Egypt to China, wine has been a popular drink made and, in some cases, revered for its intoxicating properties. Wine is made primarily of grapes, though in some cases other fruits and even rice is used. The process of making wine begin with fermenting grapes. The yeast produced in the process of fermentation causes carbon dioxide and ethanol to be produced. The different varieties of wines made depend upon the quality of the grapes selected and the type of yeast used in the process of fermentation. Broadly speaking there are three types of wines; white wine, red wine and rosé wine. White wine is produced by removing the skins of the grapes before they can be turned into pulp and fermented to create wine. The removal of skins ensures that the final wine produced has not traces of the deep burgundy color which most grapes have. Red wine is produced without the removal of skins. The pigment which gives the red wine its rich color is only present in the skin of the grapes. The color within red wines varies, with the younger wines having a more violet color, whereas the more mature wines have a deeper red or brown color.

Review: We needed a large number of boxes for our line of foundations in weeks’ time and the people at www.printmbyox.com really delivered after our usual vendor failed to come through. The quality of the boxes was also superior and we have since switched to them for our regular order of boxes. Great job guys!
